Upper 3 learnt all about quarrying and stone cutting on their visit to a local quarry this week.
Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils on gaining 100% pass rate to the Grammar School of their choice. Very well done
We are proud to announce that in 2016 we have maintained our presence as one of the top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools in the country. This means we continue to achieve top levels in Key Stage 2 SATS.
This year’s Harvest Festival service will be on Thursday 13th October 2016 at St Matthew’s Church.
Rastrick Independent School is the only school in Yorkshire in the top 10 of the Sunday Times parent power national survey of the Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools for SATS.

Upper Preparatory and Key Stage 3 enjoyed a Shakespeare Workshop this week thanks to The Shakespeare4Kids Company.

Children in the Prep School enjoyed a film evening where they snuggled down, ate delicious hot dogs and watched the Disney classic Jungle Book.
With numeracy, literacy, pond dipping, weighing, painting and more, it’s been a busy term for Rastrick’s Upper Four.
